New capabilities delivered in BigMachines 10.1 include the following:

  • New visual configuration enables the use of images as menu items, enhancing the ease with which users make product selections and choose configuration options
  • New configuration attribute types including dynamic calendar attributes for easily managing date ranges
  • New BigMachines Query Language (BMQL) extends BigMachines Admin Platform and provides administrators powerful tools for further customizing their selling solutions to meet their companies’ unique business requirements
  • Expanded eCommerce check-out delivers a more intuitive online shopping experience for business customers
  • Enhanced BigMachines Unplugged allows easier installation of offline clients and provides a faster, more intuitive data synchronization tool for offline users
  • Easier upload of data tables streamlines the process of updating product and pricing information, adding more power to the BigMachines Admin Platform
  • Streamlined Single Sign-on via SAML enables users to log into BigMachines applications more easily from other applications and portals with enhanced security using the latest open web standards
