New offering provides the ability to securely send faxes directly from Salesforce CRM
OTTAWA--MyFax, the world’s fastest-growing Internet fax service, today announced it is now available on salesforce.com’s AppExchange 2. MyFax for AppExchange 2 allows users to fax directly from Salesforce CRM, increasing customer and sales service, order management, and billing and workflow efficiencies.
“MyFax for AppExchange 2 cuts down on repetitive tasks and gets people and valuable data connected quickly and reliably”
Salesforce CRM is used by companies for all types of customer management including sales, marketing, customer service, order management and billing. Fax is a big part of that workflow. Now, with MyFax for AppExchange 2, instead of printing then faxing via fax machine and phone line, users can use data from Salesforce CRM to securely fax documents from the desktop or the Salesforce CRM document library.
MyFax is Software-as-a-Service and works with existing email accounts. It removes the need for a dedicated phone line and fax machine. It also cuts back on printing costs and the space it takes to physically store the paperwork. The service, which starts at $10 a month, enables users to manage their fax communication and corresponding document management workflow more efficiently and at a lower cost than traditional fax servers or fax machines, regardless of physical location.
“MyFax for AppExchange 2 cuts down on repetitive tasks and gets people and valuable data connected quickly and reliably,” said Steve Adams, vice president of marketing for Protus, the provider of MyFax. “In addition to being convenient and cost effective, the MyFax integration with Salesforce CRM is also extremely powerful as a reporting and auditing tool for management.”
MyFax for AppExchange 2 allows faxers to:
- Securely send a fax to a lead or contact, accounts or opportunities
- Send a document from the desktop or one saved in Salesforce CRM
- Review information about sent faxes/faxes in progress in the contact’s Activity History
- Run administrative reports
- Create custom fax cover pages
Through MyFaxCentral, MyFax’s web interface, customers can set account preferences, manage cover pages, and view sent and received faxes in the fax archive. MyFax also includes administrative features such as assigning a billing code to an outbound fax and creating and managing additional user accounts.
A MyFax subscription is required and the service starts at $10 per month. For more information about MyFax for AppExchange 2, visit http://www.myfax.com/lp/salesforce/. For tips and tricks on using MyFax for business, visit the MyFax blog at http://blog.myfax.com/.
