EXILE Technologies Uses SugarCRM to Support Their Customers and Drive Sales

EXILE Technologies (EXILE) has installed SugarCRM to assist its clients and unite its sales and support teams. The company provides chemistry-free imaging solutions to oil and gas industries, manufacturing thermal imaging equipment, film products, and direct-to-screen devices. EXILE used Technology Advisors (TAI), an Advanced Partner of SugarCRM, for consulting and implementation.

The EXILE team had some homegrown systems in place, but no real database for communications with clients. Lance Heap, the Vice President of EXILE, knew that they would need a CRM with a business partner that could create a tight integration between the CRM and their existing JD Edwards system. EXILE chose TAI to deploy SugarCRM because of TAI’s strong history and experience in integrating ERP solutions.

Along with the valued JD Edwards integration, TAI delivered a revamped support process that uses Sugar’s native Cases module. Today, the EXILE support team successfully collaborates on cases, both in the office and on-site with customers. The sales team has also enthusiastically adopted Sugar’s segmentation process, call logs, and meeting history. “The whole process – from lead to account – has given [sales] a way to look at new and potential business different,” said Lance Heap.
