CARROLLTON, Texas--July 31, 2006--Today, iMedica Patient Relationship Manager(TM) (PRM) version 5.1 joined the list of electronic health records (EHR) systems newly certified by the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT(SM)). The certification, available for the first time this month, demonstrates that iMedica PRM has been tested and passed inspection of 100% of a set of criteria for:

The Certification Commission includes representatives from a wide variety of stakeholder groups, including healthcare providers, payers, vendors, consumers, researchers, public health agencies, and informatics experts. Knowing that a product has been certified is not only of value to physicians, but to insurers and other parties in the healthcare system as well.
