Veteran of Speech Technology Marketing Heads All Global Marketing Efforts

NEW YORK--SpeechCycle Inc., the leading provider of on-demand, voice self-service technical support solutions for cable and telecommunication providers, has appointed Steve Chirokas as Vice President of Marketing. Chirokas will head global marketing which includes strategic marketing, brand management, marketing programs and corporate communications. Chirokas will also lead SpeechCycle’s channel programs with technology partners that are critical to supporting SpeechCycle’s Automated Agents.

Chirokas brings over 19 years of marketing experience in software and speech-related businesses to SpeechCycle. Prior to joining SpeechCycle, Chirokas served as Director of Product & Partner Marketing for the speech self-service business unit of Convergys Corp. Prior to Convergys, Chirokas held senior level marketing and business development positions at SpeechWorks International (now Nuance) where he initiated and led product and partner marketing, and was also responsible for corporate communications. Prior to SpeechWorks, Chirokas worked at organizations such as Process Software, COMPAQ, Brooktrout Technologies and Scitex.

Steve Chirokas earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Stonehill College, and MBA from Bentley College.
