LongJump Jumps Into Online Dynamic Business Applications Arena With Broad Offering Aimed at SMBsAffordable, Easy-to-Use and Customize On-Demand Applications Coupled With Dynamic Enterprise Platform Deliver Improved Information Management and Team Collaboration
DEMOfall 2007
SAN DIEGO--Today at the commencement of DEMOfall 07, LongJump (www.longjump.com) formally introduced a catalog of dynamic, web-based business applications for small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) to manage people, information, and processes better. At the onset, LongJump’s new offering is comprised of a dynamic business platform and 14 separate business applications that span core functional areas, including Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Finance and HR. LongJump’s online applications are designed to help small businesses securely web-enable their business processes so they can manage information and collaborate more efficiently with other workers who are located onsite or work remotely. LongJump will be presenting their new offering onstage in the “Taking the “Small” out of Small Business” group category on Wednesday, September 26th at 9:50 AM and will be located in Station 52 throughout the conference. LongJump’s offering represents a compelling solution for small businesses that cannot afford expensive enterprise-level software that is taxing to maintain, cannot be easily customized, and does not integrate with other business applications. Instead, LongJump is providing a broad array of web-based business applications that seamlessly work together, are simple to customize, and are affordable. Further, users have the ability to rapidly create “situational applications” and publish them to LongJump’s online catalog. Situational applications are customized applications that companies frequently need but cannot easily obtain and which solve a specific business problem either for the short-term or long-term. Through the end of this year, LongJump will be offering all of its applications for free for a 90-day trial period. Proven Platform Supports Rapid Customization or Creation of Situational Applications LongJump harnesses its parent company Relationals’ Dynamic Business Platform, which is used by more than 100 enterprise-level companies and has already managed millions of transactions. Serving as the foundation for LongJump’s business applications, the platform allows SMBs to readily customize an application based on changing needs or business growth, as well as publish the application to LongJump’s catalog for colleagues or the community to use. Rather than have to work with a one-size fits all application, LongJump’s Dynamic Business Platform lets functional domain experts from Marketing to Finance to HR easily customize applications or quickly create and publish situational applications that are better suited to their unique business requirements. LongJump’s platform delivers enterprise-level service, security and hardware and software architecture as well as rich functionality for each application, including:
