Entellium eMobile Makes CRM Under One Thumb Possible
On-demand CRM Usability Leader Extends Salesperson-Centric Philosophy to Mobile Phones
SEATTLE--June 13, 2006--Entellium (www.entellium.com) today announced the availability of the first sales force automation application for mobile devices that is as easy to use as the world's most popular music player, while including all the features of a full CRM suite. Entellium eMobile gives sales professionals the latest information and tools they need to be productive on the road -- whether working with customers on-site or while traveling.

Entellium eMobile helps drive user effectiveness and productivity with its intuitive yet powerful sliding menu system that lets sales professionals work from smart phones as effectively as they do from laptops and PCs, with only one thumb required to move about the application. Since eMobile is wirelessly linked to Entellium's on-demand datacenter, users can access the up-to-date information and follow sales processes just like their colleagues in the office.

Entellium eMobile is part of the Entellium eDesktop Release also announced today that features a new downloadable smart client that increases user effectiveness and convenience (see separate release(1)).

"Sales professionals that spend significant time away from the office already have a tough job, trying to meet quota every month and balancing travel schedules. Entellium built its mobile product with everyday sales scenarios in mind to make their jobs easier," explained Paul Johnston, Entellium CEO. "With Entellium, sales people don't need to spend a great deal of time navigating the application -- the most important activities and customer records are presented automatically. In fact, we call our mobile solution 'CRM Under One Thumb' -- it's so easy to use, people can do it with one hand."

At First Rate Financial LLC (www.gofirstrate.com), the company's sales team has whole-heartedly embraced Entellium eMobile.

"The team started using the mobile version of Entellium immediately and we can already see a noticeable difference in productivity," said Mike Colagrossi, CEO of First Rate Financial LLC. "We are also amazed at how well it integrates with the entire Entellium suite, leading to more accurate and up-to-date information and reporting for all subscribers, no matter what their role."

Entellium is the first on-demand CRM provider to design their own wireless CRM application, avoiding the use of generic third-party mobile middleware. The result is a highly usable mobile application that is more cost effective than other products.

Activity Center Powers Mobile Sales Force

Like all Entellium applications, Entellium eMobile also includes the Activity Center, which displays all activities such as tasks, in-bound and out-bound calls, and work notes associated with customers and prospects in a salesperson's CRM database. This gives salespeople a unified view to make sure urgent activities are handled without having to search to see what's overdue. From there, they can take on a variety of activities such as jumping on new leads, following through on new opportunities, and add any new contacts they may have made during their trip.

Drive Up-selling and Cross-selling

For many companies, the on-site upsell of new services is an effective way to drive new revenue. Entellium eMobile facilitates this by giving salespeople a real-time view into Entellium eCustomerCenter to see the status of open service incidents and stay in the loop on customer service issues. This lets them address concerns during on-site visits as well as upsell by wearing the "field service" hat.

Pricing and Availability

Entellium eSalesForce, a complete sales force automation solution consisting of the full-featured hosted "desktop" application and the mobile solution, is available starting at $75 per month per user. That's about what many providers charge for their "desktop" products alone.

Entellium eMobile is currently available on a number of Palm, Windows Mobile and RIM phones including the Treo 700w, Verizon Wireless XV6700, and RIM Blackberry 8700c with more handsets, including the Motorola Q, to be supported soon.
