Available Immediately to Axentis Customers, Additions Simplify Automation of Enterprise Distribution and Tracking of Compliance Requirements
CLEVELAND--Axentis, the leading provider of on-demand governance, risk and compliance (GRC) management solutions, today announced the latest enhancements to Axentis Enterprise (Ae). The release introduces more sophisticated business rules for configuring and automating enterprise distribution and tracking of compliance requirements such as policies, procedures and training to thousands of employees, contractors and vendors. Through Axentis’s SaaS delivery model, the enhancements immediately give all customers the opportunity to extend their existing integration capabilities with SAP HR, Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft Enterprise Human Capital Management, JD Edwards Human Capital Management, and salesforce.com, as well as other enterprise applications.
As outlined by the U.S. Sentencing Commission, an effective compliance program requires companies to ensure the communication of appropriate policies and training. The increasing complexity of regulations and company policies creates challenges with maintaining the number of views required across various geographies, business units and job functions. Furthermore, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that annual total employee turnover in the U.S. is over 40 percent, creating an even bigger challenge for GRC-related functions, including those performed by compliance, human resources, general counsels, and IT, to reach the appropriate individuals.
The enhancements help to automate the management of compliance requirements such as:
- A requirement that needs to be sent to a combination of user groups: all United States, European Union, and Canadian employees and managers with employees in California
- A requirement that applies only to employees in two business units who were hired after a specific date
- A compliance requirement that must be sent to sales, sales support and billing in one line of business in Canada
“Defining a consistent set of policies and training requirements only gets companies so far. Companies still face a ‘last mile’ dilemma, getting the right policies and training to the right people and then effectively demonstrating this to both management and regulators,” said Roger Bottum, vice president of marketing at Axentis. “This new release makes it easier to close the gap, further automating that last step and building on the information companies already have in their HR systems.”
Axentis is the only GRC company leveraging the SaaS model to deliver consistent workflow, reporting, security, and content and learning management. Through its SaaS-based foundation, Axentis is also capable of offering customers new product enhancements in real-time, throughout the calendar year, thereby eliminating any traditional interruption associated with the upgrade process. Currently 700,000 users from Global 2000 companies, located in more than 100 countries, trust Axentis with their GRC requirements. Whether tackling Enterprise Risk Management, Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, Corporate Code of Conduct, Anti-Money Laundering statutes, Operational Risk, or COBIT, Axentis Enterprise is the common platform resource used to automate processes, reduce costs, and manage risk.
