Net@Work Announces ``PeerViewTM'': Collaborative Workshop to Promote Information-Sharing Among Leading IT Decision-Makers

Recurring Event to Provide Informal Forum for CIOs, IT Directors, Etc. to Review and Validate Technologies and Technology Decisions with Their Peers

NEW YORK--Net@Work, a full service business consultancy and technology solutions provider, today announces the PeerView Workshop Series, an ongoing forum bringing together the best, most innovative IT minds across the New York metropolitan area. The workshops will take place at Net@Works offices, located in midtown Manhattan (575 Eighth Avenue, New York). Net@Work will host and facilitate workshops throughout the year, providing an informal forum for leading IT decision makers (CIOs, IT Directors, etc.) to review and validate technologies and discuss methodologies/best practices toward making sound purchasing decisions.

With ever tightening IT budgetsespecially among small and medium-sized businessesIT decision makers are under intense pressure to make sound technology purchases. Often, managing day-to-day tasks not only makes it harder to find time for sufficient due diligence, it also makes it more difficult to step back and view each purchasing decision within a broader strategic context. Net@Works workshop series gives senior IT professionals an opportunity to view their challenges through the eyes of respected colleagues who share and understand many of the same issues; the collaborative, collegial environment will result in a dynamic exchange of ideas and perspectives, helping each participant make better decisionsindeed, to put in place sounder methodologies for all purchasing decisions going forward.

Many of our clients are often facing the same challenges and working on very similar IT initiatives, said Sam Sorrentino, Net@Work Infrastructure Practice Director. However, there are few if any venues where they can informally interact with their peers and compare notes. The Workshops will streamline the due diligence process by allowing each participant to share experiences, research, and ideas toward finding real-world solutions.

The first workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, January 23rd from 12:00 p.m. 2:00 p.m. (lunch will be served). Interested and qualified IT professionals can register or obtain more information by contacting Austin Petersen at 646-293-1763 or via e-mail, This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
