      Kaseya's New Channel Program Expands Business, Revenue Opportunities for Partners While Focusing on End Customer Needs
      SAN FRANCISCO--July 31, 2006--Kaseya Corporation, a leading provider of IT Managed Services software that opens up IT automation to highly distributed enterprises and IT managed service providers (MSPs), today announced a new channel program that offers Kaseya partners additional ways to add revenue and generate business based on Kaseya's IT service platform, while addressing end users' desire for in-house technology that is sold, serviced and supported locally.

      Under the new Kaseya channel program, Kaseya managed service providers will be able to resell the Kaseya software to those customers that prefer to own and operate their IT management software versus purchasing services from an IT services company. At the same time, Kaseya will help build the pipeline for its partners through a lead generation program whereby any prospect contacting Kaseya with fewer than 100 employees will be distributed to a reseller, who can then either resell the Kaseya software or offer the prospect managed IT services.

      "We have developed this channel program to extend the mutually beneficial business relationships with our MSP partners," said Bill Falk, Kaseya vice president of sales. "The Kaseya software is a perfect product for this type of program since it can be deployed in a variety of ways - either offered as a service or managed in-house by an internal IT department. This program allows Kaseya Corporate, our MSPs and the end user customers to get what we each need: an extended distribution model for further market penetration; a new avenue for sales and lead generation; and the ability to purchase the Kaseya product in the way that suits their business model."

      The program offers two participation levels - Kaseya Gold Partner and Kaseya Platinum Partner - which vary in margin and partner commitment. The typical profiles of partners who qualify for these partner categories are:

      Kaseya Gold Partner

      Kaseya Gold Partners are integrators of IT infrastructure and other mission critical applications for small to medium sized firms. They have sales and marketing personnel capable of handling all aspects of the pre-sales and post-sales activity for systems such as Kaseya Enterprise Edition. They also have technical staff that can install, train and customize systems, and offer long term support to clients.

      Kaseya Platinum Partner

      Kaseya Platinum Partners have all the characteristics of Gold Partners, plus the sales and implementation capacity to sell Kaseya software to larger organizations. The focus of these partners is to generate profits by making Kaseya one of their leading product lines. Partners at this level have dedicated sales and support personnel and have higher sales commitments than Gold Partners. For this commitment, they receive the highest margin.

      As a means to avoid any channel conflict with Kaseya's direct sales force, Kaseya has built a Lead Registration component into the program. Partners are encouraged to register their prospects with Kaseya. Once registered, the leads are tagged in Kaseya's CRM database to that particular partner's account record. If the prospect were ever to contact Kaseya directly, Kaseya sales will know to refer the prospect back to the partner.
