Chris Moloney, Scottrade Inc.s Marketing Chief is Recognized by Frost & Sullivan for Groundbreaking Customer Loyalty Research and Advocacy Marketing

NEW YORK--Frost & Sullivan, a leader in global leader research analysis and consulting, has announced that marketing executive Chris X. Moloney will be the recipient of a 2007 Lifetime Achievement Award for Marketing Research and Competitive Intelligence. Over the past 15 years, Moloney has emerged as a recognized pioneer and forward thinker in the field of marketing research, specifically in the areas of customer loyalty, customer advocacy marketing and drivers of consumer behavior.

Moloney, currently the Chief Marketing Officer at Scottrade, one of the largest online investment firms in the U.S., said that he honed his research and marketing skills working for three leading marketing and research agencies that include, St. Louis-based firms Maritz Inc. and Meridian Enterprises as well as Dallas-based marketing firm Parago, Inc. Moloney has also become a widely published author and national speaker on the subjects of customer loyalty, marketing, advocacy, CRM and consumer behavior.

Im really more of a marketing scientist than a market researcher, but Ive learned the value of research and analysis in driving marketing strategy and competitiveness within organizations, Moloney said. Ive learned from some great market researchers and experts in the field, including Frederick Reichheld (of Bain and Co), Jim Stone (Maritz Research) and marketer Mark Shipley (Maritz, MasterCard). Im just pleased I have been able to add to a field that has helped so many companies build stronger and more meaningful relationships with their customers.

Moloneys research background is heavily weighted in financial services and brokerage, including providing consulting and marketing strategy for 14 of 20 largest U.S. financial institutions and 80 percent of the largest credit and debit card issuers in banking. He has also performed considerable research in the retail, hospitality and entertainment industries.

It is great to now be part of an industry leader (Scottrade) in both customer loyalty and referral marketing, Moloney said.
