VAI Appoints Robert Romano to Senior Sales Position
Former IBM Employee to Support VAI’s Internal Sales Force
RONKONKOMA, N.Y.--VAI (Vormittag Associates, Inc.) Romano will support VAI’s expanding internal sales team and grow its customer portfolio in the company’s key vertical markets.
Romano has over 27 years of sales experience with IBM, managing and delivering cross brand solutions to mid-market companies. While at IBM, he served in a variety of sales roles, devising competitive marketing strategies meant to win hardware installations for the IBM System i and System p platforms. In addition, Romano has extensive experience generating new software business leads.

Romano, who assumed the duties of Senior Sales Executive on January 2, 2008, holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Mercy College.
