SpeechCycle Names Vice President of Sales to Expand Global Presence
Communication Service Provider and Voice Recognition Veteran to Lead SpeechCycle Sales Team
NEW YORK--SpeechCycle, Inc., the leading provider of on-demand, voice self-service solutions for rich phone applications, announced that R. Todd Barber has joined SpeechCycle as its Vice President of Sales. Barber will be responsible for expanding direct and partner sales efforts in North America as well as throughout global regions for SpeechCycle’s LevelOne suite of self-service solutions.

Barber is charged with creating new opportunities for SpeechCycle voice recognition applications delivered in a Software as a Service (SaaS) model for Digital Service providers around the world, as well as with SpeechCycle partners. His 20 years of experience in communications, computer and software industries most recently includes management of a service provider sales team as Vice President of Sales, Americas, at Comverse.
Barber was also VP of Telecommunication Sales at SpeechWorks (now Nuance), where he created sales teams and significantly grew revenue. Barber has also held senior level sales, business development and product management positions at Stratus Computer, Vicorp Interactive and Volt Delta Resources. Barber earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the University of Rochester’s Simon School.
