Innovative software developer to lead engineering team

NEW YORK--SpeechCycle Inc., the leading provider of on-demand, voice self-service technical support solutions for cable and telecommunication providers, announced the addition of Albert Kim as Vice President of Engineering. Kim will be responsible for SpeechCycle's software engineering and speech recognition science teams, encompassing applications that automate complex technical support calls for high speed internet, video, and voice services.

Successfully automating technical support calls requires a unique combination of speech expertise, system integration, and ongoing updates, said Albert Kim. I am looking forward to working with SpeechCycle technical teams in delivering self-service solutions that take advantage of existing CRM systems, employ unique SpeechCycle dialog resources, and integrate well with agent systems.

Prior to joining SpeechCycle, Kim was a Founder and President of Equicast Media LLC. Kim was also a Group Manager and Principal Consultant at Microsoft Corp. for more than 13 years where he led project teams focusing on applications for cable and telecommunication services, application outsourcers and internet service providers. Kim was awarded Microsofts prestigious Architectural Engineer of the Year award in 1998.

Albert Kim brings significant experience to SpeechCycle via a distinguished background of creating and deploying innovative solutions for service providers, said Zor Gorelov, CEO of SpeechCycle. His creativity and proven leadership will enhance the ability of SpeechCycle in delivering a remarkable automated technical support experience to callers while at the same time driving cost savings for our customers.

Albert Kim earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Long Island University.
