MIDDLETON, Wis.--June 28, 2006--CPM Marketing Group Inc., a leader in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions for healthcare, has named Linda Brei as vice president, customer services. Brei recently joined the staff of CPM and has assumed leadership of CPM's account management, creative services and printing departments. She has an extensive background in healthcare, customer relationship building and professional services marketing. In addition, her position as a former senior administrator at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics (UWHC) provides CPM a unique look into the challenges of operating in today's healthcare environment.

Brei recently left UWHC where she held the position of vice president, marketing and public affairs since 1998. There she was responsible for marketing, external relations and internal communications for the hospital and UW's schools of health science (UW School of Medicine and Public Health, and the schools of Nursing and Pharmacy). Working with a staff of more than 35, she developed and executed multifaceted marketing strategies and plans for image development, product line sales, fund raising, community relations and crisis communications. In 2005, her in-house staff produced more than 1,100 different pieces to support service line marketing and image development, increased service line perception as documented by National Research Council (NRC) surveys, and increased revenue and margin for targeted service lines.
Prior to joining UWHC, Brei was director of corporate communications for Wisconsin Power and Light Company (WPL). There, she had responsibilities for external and internal communication programs, economic development and the WPL Foundation.
Brei earned a master's of education from Monmouth University and bachelor of arts in English from University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a member of Tempo, Madison, and is the president elect of the board of directors of Alzheimer's Association South Central Wisconsin Chapter. She has been a member of the University HealthSystem Consortium, Marketing Executives Committee; Association of Academic Health Centers Group on Institutional Advancement; the Advisory Board Marketing and Planning Executives; and Women in Health Care Management.
