Both Akie and Ericson bring a wealth of experience in SOA and Web services and will help drive product strategy and market penetration in support of BlueNote's continued expanded focus in the growing SOA market.

Rick Akie brings to BlueNote Networks a proven track record for growing sales organizations and will be directly involved in shaping its business strategy and driving global sales efforts. Akie was most recently at Systinet Corporation where he was vice president of worldwide sales. Akie's strong performance at Systinet included 400% year-over-year increase in bookings, which drove the company's $105 million acquisition by Mercury Interactive (MERQ) in January 2006. Prior to Systinet, Akie was vice president of TIBCO Software where he built and managed commercial and government business units. Akie has held numerous senior level sales positions at leading technology companies including Oracle and Cambridge Technology Partners.

Most recently, Ericson was a co-founder and director of Product Marketing & Strategy at Mindreef where he directed the design, development and launch of Mindreef's award-winning SOAPscope product. Prior to that, Ericson was chief architect with NetDialog where he architected NetDialog iCare, an early and innovative Web-based CRM system. He also served as senior architect in the advanced development group at Novell.
